Seropian Reproduction

Bloodrain, of the famed Clan Plaid, dropped a note that Alex Seropian and his wife appeared in a local Chicago parenting newspaper recently. Unfortunately, Bloodrain was on his way to foreclose on his elderly grandmother and was not able to keep a copy.

Any loyal Bungie fans in the Chicago area would do this reporter a great service by obtaining a copy.

Stay tuned for more developments as we dig to find out if there really is life after Bungie.

Recently sighted in the December 2002 issue of Chicago Parent magazine, which we are trying to locate.

The story of Bungie's founding up to the development of the Marathon series is covered in some detail in the Marathon Scrapbook. After Marathon Infinity he steered Bungie through five additional titles and the Microsoft acquisition. Retired from Bungie on August 30, 2002 and moved back to Chicago, IL. He and his wife, Laura, gave birth to their first child, Amelia Eve, in November 2002.

I think Alex is the first ex-Bungie I'm going to interview... if he gives his permission.

Does anyone know when his wife comes to term?

She gave birth back in November. Alex and Laura are the proud parents of Amelia Eve. I saw them last week while I was in Chicago. Cute little kid. Definite family resemblance.

As for the picture, my brother actually does layout for that paper and emailed it to me some time ago...I'll see if I can dig it up.

Yah sorry for not catching this sooner, I thought PD knew Alex already had a kid. The mystery, in my mind, is what he/them was doing that garnered a shot in Parent? I guess it could be something as non-earth shattering as "Hey! Look at the cute kid!"

She was a factor in his moving back to the Windy City.

I bet she would love a Grunt plushie.

he's starting a new game company called "Wide Load Games" based out of chicago. They're working on a proto-type of a unknow game that they are going to shop around to publishers.
