Yep, that's right, re-issue them. The catch? Redesign the graphics. Make it cartoon-like, take away realistic renders, people want it to be a cartoon. Put way more easter eggs in it. Hidden levels, make also an R-rated version of it. Let MC get it on, let it be gory. Make it online-massive multiplayer-Live.
Include a map editor. Then you can rake in as much as you did originally. Then give everybody in bungie a fat severance check and close shop, because you suck nowadays.
