I wonder if this was connected to the advertising of the mission design job on bungie.com. Would this mean there are more vacant job offers at Bungie?

I don't see the connection. According to Matt's email, the ex-Phoenix design team was too big and had to let go/re-assign some folks. Why would they then post ads looking for folks to fill their staff?
