The Fifth Glyph

• (6/13/01) Ok I'll try not to butcher the background behind this glyph too much. Apparently sometime roughly in the 13th centruy a manuscript was written in an unknown language. Presumabely a made up language. Since then it had been bought and then donated to Yale University. To this day it has yet to be decoded. However alot of work has been done. And one of the things they have accomplished is some of the letters, including the symbol for the letter "G" which is ::drumroll:: the & looking symbol in Glyph 5. Thanks to Luigi who found this page which solved this glyph.

• (6/03/01) Trevor "Joe Mahma" Smith was pestering... errr asking Claude more about what language the symbol is and Claude replied "It's not that you're in the wrong ballpark... you're in the wrongfriggin' city. :) (You're in some city that lost its major leaguefranchise 10 years ago, and is struggling to find a AAA team tocome live...)". Perhaps its just a picture, maybe if we look at it from other positions it'll come clear. Oh and it looks like Claude is a Pulp Fiction fan.

• (5/30/01) The sum of this glyph's numbers add up to 171.

• (5/30/01) Many have debated over if the enclosed symbol is "&" or a different symbol.

• (5/30/01) Upon ruling out Hebrew and Arabic, Joe Mahma asked Claude if it was Greek and he replied he was barking up the wrong tree. Does this mean he had the wrong language, or the wrong idea, perhaps this isn't a symbol in a language at all.
